Energy Efficiency

Energy Efficiency means wasting less of the energy required after conservation measures, or using energy in the smartest way. Efficient light bulbs and appliances use less energy to provide the same function. Insulation and air sealing upgrades to existing homes save heat energy (and fuel!). A high efficiency home will have lower energy needs because it is super-insulated and requires less heat energy to stay warm. Keeping our homes energy needs to a minimum is essential to sustainable living in the north.

Energy Efficiency Solutions

• Retrofit your home, insulate, seal leaks and drafts
• Install (and program!) programmable thermostats
